Child Support –   This is determined by “Guideline” or the Family Code. The courts often use a program called “Dissomaster”;

Alimony – Also known as “Spousal Support”.  The courts have more Latitude in determining the amount of support than Child Support;

Family Support – This is a “combination” of both Child Support and Alimony. If the parties agree, this can be used to provide beneficial tax  benefits to one or both parties;
